Dr Darshi Ramanathan awarded Brain Foundation Grant

Congratulations to Dr Darshi Ramanathan who was recently awarded a Brain Foundation Grant for her research project titled "A longitudinal cohort study of myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated demyelination: defining the clinical course, therapeutic responses, and outcomes."

Darshi is a neurologist based at Westmead Hospital with a subspecialty interest in Neuroimmunology. She is in the final year of her PhD with the Discipline of Child & Adolescent Health and is supervised by A/Prof Fabienne Brilot and Professor Russell Dale at the the Institute for Neuroscience and Muscle Research.

Dr Ramanathan's research focus relates to the clinical and laboratory evaluation of patients with antibody-mediated disorders of the brain, including demyelination and autoimmune encephalitis.
